:: today morning i found the gallery in a surprising new state. Peter's photography presentation and Tamas' stencil pictures werde modified into some 'new compositions'. I won't call it destruction, cause that's what we expected in a way and there is also something new created. some imprints of the childrens' handwriting....:::
Hey you 2, I really like watching and reading about what's happening. But it would be cool if I could fetch the latest news with a feedreader. Or is that already possible? Looking forward to seeing you soon - Katja
OPEN GALERIE - a project of SEE:SIDES Greenhouse recreation
The main idea is to place back the abonded greenhouse to its original function, and give new aims for it too.
The new task is to create a place for any type of civil movement, and artistic events. We don’t want to separate this different activities, moreover We would prefer to connect them, force arists and citizens to cooperate.
Open Galerie is open not just physically, but in conceptually too. There will not be a door to lock the place, which means everybody can enter in any time to see, to have a rest, to intervent…
There will be workshops for children from the next door orphanage, and of course to everybody who wants to participate.
The greenhouse will fill with plants, flowers, vegetables, herbs.
People can walk in and see the actual exhibitions, namely the greenhous will use as an exhibition place too. Walking through in a palce which is full with live organism, so audince have take care of every footstep… We don’t want to occupied the place. We will show up a possibilities, answers for the question, taken up by the place, by the local children and by ourself.
